Sustainable Screening aims to support companies and investors across different sectors and geographies in this process by providing advice and concrete deliverables.
The company was founded by Terence Berkleef in 2018. Terence combines over twenty years of experience and in-depth knowledge of the responsible investing industry. He has worked with numerous investors and businesses worldwide on various ESG investment projects, always driven by personalized, high-quality professional service.
Before starting Sustainable Screening, he held senior management roles at Sustainalytics, managing research teams, product development and client advisory. Terence began his career at ABN AMRO Bank’s Risk Management department as a sector analyst, followed by roles as a Green Fund Portfolio Manager and ESG analyst at ABN AMRO Asset Management focused on ESG integration and policy development and implementation. Terence holds masters’ degrees in Economic Geography and International Relations from the University of Amsterdam.
Terence Berkleef
Alis has over 10 years of experience and in-depth knowledge in advancing sustainable practices and navigating the complexities of ESG frameworks and standards.
Prior to partnering with Sustainable Screening, she held senior positions at Sustainalytics Romania. In these roles, she translated ESG principles and regulations into research requirements while leading and managing cross-functional teams globally, spanning Europe and India.
Alis holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Biology from the West University of Timisoara.
